Calling all Fantasy fans – your chance to join ‘Monsters’ symposium

A one day Fantasy themed symposium is being held by Richmond in a joint initiative with the University of Northampton.

Entitled ‘Monsters’, this event at the University of Northampton (The Owls Nest Learning Hub, University of Northampton, University Drive, NN1 5PH) on Friday 29 November from 10am to 4pm, will explore the role of fantasy in literature, film and international history.

Together with some students from Richmond who will be speaking at the event, Richmond’s Professor Dom Alessio, Professor of History, Vice President International Programmes  and Dr Caleb Turner, Assistant Professor of Film Studies, will be joined by Dr Jon Mackley, Senior Lecturer in English and Creative Writing at the University of Northampton and Dr Philippa Semper, Lecturer in English at the University of Birmingham.
