Art History & Visual Culture Trip to Barcelona

Over the Fall Break, Professor Nicola Mann led an Art History & Visual Culture trip to the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona.

The group included students on the MA Art History & Visual Culture programme as well as MFA Screen Acting Students on a Study Abroad programme from Oklahoma City University.

Highlights of the trip included visiting Gaudí’s world famous architectural gem, Sagrada Família, as well as exploring fantastic sites including the Picasso Museum, the Miro Museum, Parc Güell, and the Tàpies Foundation. The trip even involved a guest lecture at Jaime Pitarch’s artist studio, in addition to a final night talk and tapas celebration at the beautiful Perez-Hita Studio.
