A New Path in Life

Hello,

I hope you are all safe and enjoying your summer. Some of you might have been on holidays, like me, and others might plan to start your vacation later this month. I did enjoy my holidays, as I mentioned in my previous posts, and now I am focusing on my professional research project which is due in today! After that, I have officially finished my MA.

I recently moved back to the UK. I do not live in London anymore, but in a small town in Kent, it’s close to London and you can take the train to come to Central London anytime. After Covid, I realized that I wanted to live in a quieter place and enjoy this kind of life.  In order to come back to the UK, I had to finish my driving lessons and pass the driving exams, which I did and then I booked tickets for my flight. In case any of you are wondering, the travelling conditions to UK from Greece are much better and a lot faster. When I arrived in the UK, I didn’t have to wait for hours to be checked. Instead, the automated machine checked my passport. My Covid credentials were checked in Greece.

I enjoyed my “mini Covid break” in Greece, I had time to see my parents and explore other paths in my life, I even took a three-month Korean online course which was provided by Richmond University in London. I can say that it’s time to move on to new things and new experiences that will make me happier and wiser. I am really interested in exploring this area of the UK and visiting all nearby cities, meeting new people, making friends, and finding a job that I really love.

I wonder what life has in store for me now that my MA in Richmond is ending but I am positive that good things will come. I am really glad for the choice that I made and did my MA in Richmond, and I learned many things. I am very excited about the graduation, and I hope it will take place this year and won’t get cancelled due to Covid.

It’s a new chapter in my life and I am ready to embrace it. I hope you all follow your dreams and do what makes you happy.
