‘50 Years of Fabulous!’ – An Evening with Zandra Rhodes

This is your opportunity to join one of the most iconic and most colourful of British fashion designers – Zandra Rhodes.

On Monday 30 October, 7.30-9.30pm at Duke Street Church, Duke Street, Richmond TW9 1DH, Zandra Rhodes will be sharing her unique insights on the world of fashion in a joint event which has been organised by the Museum of Richmond and Richmond American University London, thanks to Dr Nicola Mann, Professor of Communications & Visual Cultures and Head of Department of Communications & The Arts at the University, who is also a Trustee of the Museum of Richmond.

In a career which has spanned five decades, Zandra Rhodes is a pioneer of the British and international fashion scene.

She has collaborated with brands such as Valentino, Topshop and Mac Cosmetics and most recently has launched collections with the likes of IKEA of Sweden, Happy Socks, Free People and Fluevog, amongst many other exciting partnerships and projects.

In this talk, Zandra will explore how she has been painting the world with her unapologetically colourful creations since the 1960s, past and future collaborations, and The Zandra Rhodes Foundation.
