Richmond University is pleased to be able to offer a USC-approved option for students who have been accepted by USC as Spring Admits
USC Spring Admits have the option to come to Richmond for the Fall 2017 semester and to study courses whose academic credit will transfer into USC and count towards their USC degree.
Richmond’s two academic schools offer a variety of programs in the American Liberal Arts tradition.
USC Spring Admits will live and study at our Richmond Hill campus, located in the beautiful green borough of Richmond-upon-Thames.
Students residing at the Hill can choose from a variety of rooms from traditional US style shared rooms to single occupancy rooms.
Student accommodation is located in the impressive Main Building and also in the surrounding buildings on or near the Richmond Hill Campus.
Our Room & Board fees include 18 meals per week (3 meals per day Monday–Friday, and 2 brunches & 1 dinner at the weekend).

The School of Communications, Arts & Social Sciences offers courses in areas such as:
- Art History & Visual Culture
- Film Studies
- International Relations
Richmond Business School offers courses in areas such as:
- Fashion Management & Marketing
- Finance & Investment
- International Business
- Accounting & Finance

How to apply
Applying to Richmond for the Fall 2017 Semester as a USC Spring Admit is easy. Simply fill out the ‘Visiting Student Application Form for USC Spring Admits’ form and send it to our Office of Admissions for North America in Boston (contact details included in the application form).
Once you have submitted the application form to Richmond, we will liaise with USC on your application. USC will share application data with Richmond, including:
- Personal statement/essay
- At least one recommendation from a teacher or counselor
You can usually expect an admissions decision from Richmond within 1 week of Richmond’s receipt of your application.

I had such a wonderful experience at Richmond University. The beautiful campus was close to all the London attractions. The professors work hard with you to succeed, and I made some incredible life-long friends there. I did not want to come home.
