Richmond students to speak at the 2016 IABM International Broadcasting Conference

Richmond students Damien Ashton-Wellman and Elizabeth Scruton will be among a panel to speak on at the 2016 IABM Annual International Business Conference & Awards on the changing perspectives of young people on the TV/video industry. The conference will be held from December 1-2 and will see broadcasting executives from across the globe come together in London. Both students currently study on our Communications: Marketing & Public Relations Major along with Damien Ashton-Wellman also serving as our Student Body President 2016-17.

IABM, formerly the International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers, is a non-profit international trade association representing suppliers of broadcast and media technology. The Association’s aim is to identify and promote the interests of its members, and to provide benefits and services which enhance their business performance. Its members represent more than 80% of the global value of the broadcast sector.
