Welcome Message from the PowerCampus UIS Communications Team

Welcome to the UIS Communications Team information site. This site provides students, faculty and staff with community-wide information regarding issues relating to the implementation of PowerCampus' University Information System (UIS). UIS replaces SIS and integrates information systems used in other University departments. UIS will connect all departments and link us together into one University-wide information system. A detailed timeline for implementation will be posted on this site shortly and updated frequently.

The Communications Team is responsible for formal communications to the Richmond community.Status reports, trip reports from consultants, kick-off meetings and campus wide communications are examples of the items that the Communications Team oversees. Other teams assisting with UIS implementation include the Technical Team, Data Standards Team, Report Strategy Team, and the On-line Team.

Additionally, a member of faculty will be joining our team in the fall.
