Visiting Professor of Economics and Finance from the Bank of England

The Department of Business and Economics is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Paul Fisher as a Visiting Professor of Economics and Finance starting in January 2012. In his capacity as the Executive Director of Markets at the Bank of England and also as a member of its Monetary Policy and Financial Policy Committees, Dr Fisher brings a wealth of experience and knowledge on some of the critical issues of the day in relation to the UK and world financial markets.

We look forward to welcoming Paul to the Department and to the University.
