Vassilis K. Fouskas publishes in The World Today (Chatham House) short, comprehensive piece on the Greek/Eurozone debt crises in which he argues that a debtor-led default and exit from the Euro-zone is the only way out for embattled Greece. Yet, his argument goes, this can only happen under the leadership of a new democratic bloc of social and political forces, not under the tutelage of the corrupt political system that has been ruling the country since the fall of the Colonels in 1974.
