Vassilis Fouskas and Preslava Stoeva co-present at October 2011 Millennium Conference

Vassilis K. Fouskas and Preslava Stoeva presented a joint paper to the Millennium annual conference at the London School of Economics titled "The Constructivist Moment in US Grand Strategy: Dean Acheson, Paul Nitze and the Militarisation of Containment". The paper's analytical rigour on the theme of constructivism was further thematised by focusing on the 1940s and the way in which Kennan's notion of containment was overruled by Paul Nitze and Dean Acheson by the end of the decade. The LSE discussant and the audience praised the paper and invited Preslava and Vassilis to submit their paper for consideration to the Millennium: Journal of International Relations
