The Richmond Faculty Strike Back!
Risking life and limb, those fearless defenders of liberty, Drs Boys and Keating took on the might of the Galactic Empire recently and came face to face with the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader!
In a trip designed to supplement their First Year Experience Courses (Utopia and Dystopia & Hollywood and History), Drs Boys and Keating visited the highly successful Star Wars Exhibition at London’s County Hall and revelled in the Dark Side of the Force.
The exhibition is a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the original Star Wars movie, which opened in the United States in May 1977, when Dr. Boys was 6 and Dr. Keating merely 3 years old. As life-long fans of the science fiction series, the two faculty members can highly recommend the exhibition, especially to fans of the more recent trilogy.
The show, which includes original props from the series, including RD-D2, C-3PO, Yoda, as well as miniatures and star ships, which runs until January.
