The Global Consumer – That’s You!

Richmond’s Marketing Department is currently offering an internationally focused consumer behavior course entitled “Consumer Behavior” (MKT 302). The course focuses on the study of what it means to be a consumer in the global, information-oriented (technology orientated, market-orientated) culture. Consumer Behavior.
examines behavioral science concepts, processes, and approaches that inform marketing strategy as to what, how, when, where, and why people consume. The course aims to provide a managerial-orientated understanding of the ubiquity of consumption in post-modern life. In addition, the course examines the influences upon and the behavior of consumers, both in groups and as individuals.
