The Royal Academy in Picaddilly

Students from ADM 418 Printmaking Workshop were given a special guided tour of the studios at The Royal Academy in Picaddilly by the British painter Vanessa Jackson. The tour began with a rare viewing of the famous Life Drawing Room, the first in existence anywhere in the world. Students also enjoyed the wonderful casts that line the corridors and the cabinet extraordinaire of skeleltons.

The tour included all three of the Printmaking Studios and then a complete walk through of all the painting and sculpture studios and concluded with a much needed coffee at the secret student bar located deep in the bowels of The Royal Academy.
