Students take day trip to Porto, Portugal

On Saturday, Nov. 15, nine eager students took a short-and-sweet day trip to Portugal. The trip was organized by first year student Pascal Kraus and was open to any enthusiasts who wanted to take a break from London weather and visit the sunny southern country.

The day in Porto started at 8:40a.m when students made their way from Porto airport to the city centre. Throughout the day, the group visited some of Porto’s famous sights, walked around steep, cobble-stoned streets, and even spent some time at the beach, dipping toes in the Atlantic Ocean and loving the warm sea breeze.

Porto was an amazing experience, full of fun and random adventures. In the 12 hours spent in Portugal, students took in the best of local culture.

This was the second day trip Pascal organized; the first one was to Dublin on Nov. 9.
