Students Gather to Watch US Election Results

Obama to become America's 44th President

Richmond International Society (RIS) hosted the 2008 Presidential Election Coverage Party, which took place at both the Richmond and Kensington Campuses. Over 100 students gathered in the common rooms to watch the results post of the most anticipated election yet.

Despite the hour, students stayed up into the early hours of the morning to watch the announcement of Barack Obama becoming the 44 President of the United States of America. The event was highly successful and brought together students with a wide range of political views.
