Student Speaks about American Politics on BBC Radio 5

Richmond student Chris Leiter made his third live appearance on BBC Radio Five's the Richard Bacon show last night.

He debated Dr. Nile Gardiner, from the conservative think thank the Heritage Foundation, on the topic of President Bush's legacy and whether "Bush was really that bad?"

Topics ranged from the Iraq War to Hurricane Katrina to the Economy to President Bush's aid to Africa.

Needless to say, Chris had some help from the many listeners who called in and even at times from the host.

A recording of Wednesday's show can be found below, and Chris can be heard from about 11 minutes in and onwards.
