Spring Orientation at Richmond University Begins

Over 200 students from all over the globe have started to arrive at both the Richmond Hill and Kensington campuses. Staff and returning students are on hand to greet the arrivals and welcome them to London.
The Kensington Study Abroad Group, Richmond's incoming Spring Study Abroad class at Kensington was also officially welcomed to London and the University last night. About 178 students from all over North America were met by the Provost of the University, Dr. Robert Leppard, for the start of the new semester. A glittering array of star speakers, including RAs, RDs, staff members from Student Affairs and the Study Abroad team, as well as special guests from the London Metropolitan Police Force (Sargent Paul) and one of the trendiest eateries and pubs in Kensington (Alex from the Builder's Arms) were all on hand to fill students in on the array of exciting classes and social events which Richmond has organised for them.
Events are available to all new students and include outtings such as the superhero themed Welcome Boat Party along the River Thames, visits to musicals such as Wicked, and amazing trips to the Highlands of Scotland and wild West Wales, and the now legendary Richmond Egypt Spring Break experience.
