Alumni Gathering Inspires Networking and Political Discussions

Ghazi Lashab Richmond Admissions Officer for Saudi Arabia greeted Alumni at the exclusive Faisaliah Hotel on Wednesday, February 9th. Alumni and Mr. Lashab gathered over coffee to discuss the Saudi Arabian government sponsored scholarship scheme as well as the political state of the Middle East. Alumni in attendance were Bassam Oueida '91 and Dr. Hisham M. Ali '92, who are both successful businessmen in Saudi Arabia. The Richmond visit was a first to Saudi Arabia in more than five years and yielded enthusiasm from the top schools and students who had the rare opportunity to meet a University official.
