RIS Hosts Holocaust Survivor
30/01/2012

The Richmond International Society (RIS) was proud to host Holocaust survivor and author of Four Perfect Pebbles, Marion Blumenthal Lazan. She gave an account of her life living in concentration camps in both Holland and Germany during World War II to an audience of over 60 people.
Her message was one which advocated toleration and acceptance. Lazan encouraged all those in attendance to promise to share her story with the next generation, as this generation is the last one which will hear first hand accounts from those who experienced the Holocaust.
A big thank-you to all of those who took time to attend this once in a lifetime opportunity!
