Richmond students spend a night at the Opera

Students from The Opera Club recently attended Donizetti's L'Elisir D'Amore performed by the English National Opera at The Coliseum in Covent Garden. This wonderful production - updated by Jonathan Miller to a 1950's American Diner - has received rave reviews from the national press for the quality of singing and the staging (we were especially taken with poor, love-stricken Nemorino beautifully sung by Benedict Nelson).

The Opera Club selects good and accessible opera for students at Richmond as part of the University's aim to provide a rich and challenging cultural experiences in extra-curricular activities.
