Dom Alessio, Associate Professor of History and newly appointed Director of the Study Abroad Program at Richmond, is helping to organise the 14th annual New Zealand Studies Association conference which will be 28-30 June in central London. This event, the largest ever on New Zealand held in the UK, has 37 speakers from 9 countries and 6 keynotes: David Carnegie, Rod Edmond, David Hill, Manying Ip, Claudia Orange, and Lyman Tower Sargent. The Saturday will be held in the penthouse of New Zealand House with the afternoon devoted to Taha Maori and various artists supporting the event. Dom has written extensively on New Zealand and is also Vice Chair of the New Zealand Studies Association. Further details about the NZSA and the conference can be found at the website Conference
