Richmond Officials meet with Education Leadership in Kuwait

Dean Mark Kopenski and Associate Dean Radek Coufal met with the Minister of Higher Education Ms. Nouriya Subeeh Barrak Al-Subeeh at her ministry office on the 09th January 2011, Sunday, to discuss the on-going recognition of Richmond’s degrees by the Kuwaiti government and further sponsorship of Kuwaiti students attending Richmond. Mr. Al-Omar, a leading minister in the State of Kuwait and the father of two sons currently attending Richmond, attended the meeting and made the introductions.

Dean Kopenski said of the meeting at the Ministry, "It is certainly important that we continue to visit around the world and speak with leading Education Ministers ensuring that Richmond remains an attractive educational destination and that the Ministries continue to support students who are seeking an international education, which Richmond has been providing for nearly forty years".
