Richmond Joins ACO Swiss Recruitment Tour

Richmond Alumna & Admissions Officer, Ms. Susan Evans joined American Colleges Overseas Admissions Representatives from nine European campuses for a tour of international secondary schools throughout Switzerland the week of 25th November 2007. Activities included college fairs as well as ACO presentations. Representatives discussed the distinctions of liberal arts studies abroad with question and answer sessions followed by one-on-one time at university tables throughout the college fairs. Students gathered materials and inquired on the various degree programs and multi-cultural opportunities with each university. Guidance Counselors and Sixth Form leaders supported the events with their participation and inquiries with each institutional representative.
Cities visited on the tour included: Geneva, Lugano, Milan, Founex, Grand-Saconnex, Villars, Versoix & Montreux. Secondary Schools participating included: Internatioanl School of Geneva – La Grande Boissiere, ASC International House, TASIS, American School of Milan ,International School of Geneva – La Chataigneraie, International School of Geneva – Nations, Leysin American School, Aiglon College and St. George’s School. ACO Admissions participants included: Charlie Beech & Michal Sela of Webster University, Geneva; Leila Bello of International University of Monaco; Pamela Dalby of Vesalius in Brussels; Melissa Elliotte & Petra Orent of Franklin College, Switz.; Susan Evans of Richmond in London; Lisa Heindl of Jacobs University, Germany; Kyra Kellawan of Huron University, London; Ashley Teal of St. Louis University in Madrid and Flora Vanelslander of John Cabot, Rome.
