In an effort to continue to expand Richmond's reach globally the admission office travelled to over 25 countries and many US states this past fall. Among the countries that were visited was a trip to Georgia in the eastern part of Europe. Mark S. Kopenski, Dean of Admissions and Associate Dean, Radek Coufal visited secondary schools, met with members of the US state department and interviewed prospective students for fall admission. Georgia is already well represented at Richmond but the admission office expects to increase the number of students from Georgia this fall. "If you visit, students enrol" said Dean Kopenski. It is difficult for us to get to all of the places around the world we receive invitations from so alumni, friends and current Richmond students are a valuable addition to the recruitment team. The admission office will be in Monaco, France, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, India, Bangladesh, UAE, Kuwait and Jordan this spring in addition to visits around the UK and to several states in the USA.
