The Residence Life Team is proud to announce the Richmond Idol of Spring 2006… Our very own Resident Assistant: Elyse Loosararian! Congratulations Elyse! On Friday, February 10, our final two contestants battled it out in a round of lip-syncing and it was Elyse’s wild performance of “I Will Survive” that got her a £10 Gift Card to HMV. At the beginning of every semester, Residence Life hosts a night with live entertainment. In previous years, ResLife held Karaoke contests, but this year we turned it all around and provided a jam-packed show that mimics the formula of hit shows like “Pop Idol,” “American Idol,” and “The X Factor,” in search of a student who can represent Richmond in a unique way. After the show, we transformed our common room into a dance floor, had music provided by a Richmond student DJ MATERIAL, and partied all night long! It was definitely a night to remember...
