Richmond Graduate: Opening Act for The Police Reunion Tour

Richmond Graduate, Joe Sumner, and his band Fiction Plane, opened for the first night of The Police’s reunion tour in Vancouver. Fans in the audience quickly realized with great enthusiasm that the lead frontman was none other than Sting’s son.

Sumner has been working for several years to make a name for himself in the music industry despite his connection to fame. He last toured with his father in 1993 as a roadie.

You really never know who you’ll meet or the connections you’ll make when studying at Richmond and living in the London area!
