New Zealand Science-Fiction: A Symposium

An afternoon with presentations on New Zealand science-fiction literature and film.
Speakers: Dr Dominic Alessio (Richmond The American International University), Dr Ian Conrich (Centre for New Zealand Studies, Birkbeck, University of London), and Laurence Douny (University College London).

Includes screenings of the feature film The Quiet Earth (Geoff Murphy, 1985), and the short films Eau De la Vie (1994, Simon Baré), Funny Little Guy (1994, Chris Graves), Larger Than Life (1997, Ellory Elkayem), and Infection (2000, James Cunningham)
