Richmond- Voted Best Place to Live in England!

Have you ever wondered how truly satisfied people are with where they reside? The Department for Communities and Local Government recently released the results of a survey carried out to determine just that. In Richmond-upon-Thames, 92.4% of people surveyed said they were extremely satisfied with their area despite the hardships incurred by the recession. The survey touched on issues ranging from council services to addressing anti-social behaviour.

Richmond Council stated that they were very pleased that Richmond was “regarded as the best place to live”, putting the outcome of the survey down to the borough’s low crime rate and green spaces.

Those of us who have elected to live/study/work in Richmond should be pleased that we have chosen one of the happiest places in England!
