Richmond Beer Brewing and Appreciation Society Holds First Tasting

On Thursday, January 29th, the Richmond Beer Brewing and Appreciation Society held a very successful first beer tasting. Hosted in the Upper Dining Hall at the Richmond Hill campus, members were able to showcase their carefully handcrafted brews to their fellow students. There were four varieties available to sample: an Indian Pale Ale, a Bitter, a Dark Ale, and a Traditional English Ale. All received great reviews from those that attended with the dark ale, brewed by Hernan Torres, being the favorite.
With this encouragement, members will soon begin preparations to brew their next batch. This time there will be a lot more trial involved as members will follow and experiment with recipes and their own hop/malt mixes instead of using a pre-prepared mix. Officers of the Richmond Beer Brewing and Appreciation Society would like to invite anyone who is interested in joining to contact them and they would be happy to help you get involved!

Cheers,

Colin Sabia (President)
Bethany Warner (Secretary)
Alex Koehler (Treasurer)
