Richmond/AIFS Paris Trip

This past weekend (September 19-21) 130 study abroad students left London to travel across the English Channel by ferry for a weekend break in Paris. Friday evening consisted of a visit up the famous Eiffel Tower just in time for sunset, followed by a cruise along the Seine River. Saturday morning’s itinerary consisted of a bus and walking tour around the French capital, visiting such sights as Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter. The weather was gorgeous – sun every day – and in the afternoon whilst some continued to see Paris’s historical and cultural sites such as the Louvre or Versailles, others just preferred to sit and people watch in cafes or alongside the banks of the Seine.
