Richmond climbs highest peak in the United Kingdom
During Easter weekend three members of the Admissions team at Richmond, the American International University in London reached the summit of Ben Nevis, at 1,344 metres (4,406 feet) above sea level. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the United Kingdom. It is located at the western end of the Grampian Mountains close to the coastal town of Fort William in western Scotland. The route took the Admissions team over a rocky trail and continued on to a climb involving heavy snow and cloud cover near the summit. It took a total of 5 hours and 53 minutes to summit and make it safely back to the start of the trail.
