RIASA goes to Anfield

RIASA students visit Anfield Stadium
As part of an educational trip to Liverpool, a group of RIASA students got the opportunity to take part in the Anfield Stadium tour, and visit the Club's museum.
As well as exploring the history of the club and it's relationship with the surrounding areas of the city of Liverpool, the students got the chance to see the five European cups on display, and watch a specially commissioned documentary on the thrilling final in 2005 at Istanbul, where they won the fifth cup as well as the right keep the authentic trophy.

The students also saw the home team changing room, the media centre, visitors lounge and the terraces, before finally getting to sit in the legendary Kop.

The trip was completed by a visit to Albert Dock and the Liverpool One development, with all of it's festive attractions, before finally taking a trip on the Liverpool big wheel.
