RIAN Hosts the Deputy High Commissioner of Sierra Leone

Representatives of RIAN meet the Deputy High Commissioner
RIAN (Richmond International Action Network) hosted Sierra Leone's Deputy High Commissioner at Richmond on Friday, 20 May.
The Deputy High Commissioner visited to attend a reception for RIAN which will launch their first work project in the village of York in Sierra Leone next month. One of RIAN's founders, Sanjay Raja, Saed Sarsur (President of Richmond's Diplomatic Society) and RIAN's advisor, Dr. Sabine Spangenberg were all present to welcome the University's Chancellor, Sir Cyril Taylor and officials from the High Commissioner's office.
Both the Deputy High Commissioner and the Chancellor congratulated the student/alumni-run organization for its vision and activism in helping people in need.
