Renowned Venture Capitalist to Visit Richmond

The Finance Society will be hosting a guest lecturer and renowned venture capitalist, Stephen Grabiner, to Richmond University. This event will take place on April 1st at 10am in the Lecture Hall, 16 Young Street.

A brief biography:
Stephen has just formed Grabiner LLP with former colleagues, having recently retired from Apax Partners. He joined Apax Partners in 1999, focusing on media investments. He led the Media sector team globally as well as the London office. His major deals include Yell, EMAP, Hit Entertainment (owner of Bob The Builder) and many others.

Earlier, Stephen was the Chief Executive of ONdigital plc, an Executive Director at United Media plc, and the Managing Director of The Telegraph plc. Stephen received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Sheffield and an M.B.A. from Manchester Business School.
