Professor Mary Robert presents paper at a conference in Greece

Professor Mary Robert, Chair of the Department of Arts & Sciences and Professor of Lens Media, recently attended the 2nd Annual International Conference on Visual and Performing Arts in Athens, Greece.

The aim of the conference was to bring together scholars, researchers and students from all areas of Visual Arts including Animation, Architecture, Art History, Art Education, Book Arts, Ceramics, Community Arts, Fashion Design, Fiber, Furniture/Woodworking, Glass, Graphic Design, Illustration, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Jewellery/Metal Arts, Media Arts, Painting/Drawing, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Fiber Arts, Visual Studies, Writing and Literature and Performing Arts including music, drama, and dance.

At the Conference, she presented a visually illustrated paper entitled ‘SEEING DOUBLE ‘ in which she explored the aspects of the lives of a particular community of Turks based in Istanbul.
