Dr. Hart with Richmond Students

On Thursday, February 8th 2007, the Department of Business & Economics and Richmond’s Economics Society were privileged to host a lecture by Professor Keith Hart, entitled ‘Money is both impersonal and personal’. The event took place at 3:30 pm in Taylor Building Lecture Hall 1 and was open to all Richmond University students. Around 35 to 40 students (from a variety of majors) and some faculty attended this event. A few of the students attending can be seen on the photograph accompanying this text. Professor Hart is a world–renowned anthropologist and, amongst other things, is responsible for coining the phrase and developing the concept of the informal sector’.
