Prof Robert presents paper at Conference

Professor Mary Robert recently participated in the Annual International Conference of the IMAGE in San Sebastian,Spain. Her presentation included a set of projected photographic portraits and delivery of a paper entitled ‘PRIVATE VIEWS Image-Mediated Construction of Self: How Istanbul Travestis Learn the Craft of Womanhood’.

The cross disciplinary conference featured a wide range of presentations which provided a forum for discussions of the nature and functions of image making and of images themselves.
