Post Graduation Ball Update and Photos

The Graduation Ball took place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on 16 May 2006. Over 90 graduates, parents, students, alumni, staff and faculty attended the event.

The evening began with a wine reception accompanied by live jazz music. Afterwards everyone moved to the ballroom for dinner, which consisted of a fantastic three course meal. After dinner the students danced until midnight while enjoying the view of Hyde Park from the balcony.

Students and parents alike were very impressed with the beautifully decorated and well orgaized atmosphere that made up the evening. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to dress up in formal attire for the celebration of their graduation. In addition, the hotel provided an excellent backdrop for taking pictures and celebrating memories that will last a lifetime.

One of the graduating seniors cited, “this was a special and unique experience for us to end four years of studying at Richmond University. The exquisiteness of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel provided the perfect venue because it complemented Richmond’s esteemed reputation perfectly”.
