The MA IR, as it will be commonly referred to, will be a one-year program with an integrated internship, ensuring that students graduate with experiences and qualifications that are world class. The program will require students to study a series of core classes in the first semester followed by the opportunity to select from a variety of courses covering regions and themes, allowing students to develop their own, very personal program. The program also incorporates a professional internship, granting students access to professionals within the IR field with all the opportunities that this could lead to. This will therefore be a bespoke program, tailored to the individual interests of every student.

The program will be led by Dr. Boys and a strong team of international relations professionals, drawn from both existing faculty as well as from a large pool of talented academic and professional practitioners.

Applications for the program are encouraged from students who have completed a fully accredited undergraduate degree in a related field from leading universities in the UK, USA and around the globe. A minimum grade point average will be required, as will additional admission criteria, details of which are available on-line or as part of the MA IR view book. The program will be accredited in the United States by Middle States whilst UK validation will be sought through the Open University Validation Service, in time for the 2011/12 academic year.

We invite interested students to contact the office of admissions for more information and to arrange an appointment to discuss the program and admission eligibility.
