New Delhi Alumni at the Taj Palace Hotel
The Richmond admission office is currently on a two week recruitment tour of India and Bangladesh conducting student interviews for placements this Fall 2008. In addition to student interviews, Dean of Admission Mark S. Kopenski and Associate Dean Radek Coufal are giving presentations at many of India's most highly regarded secondary schools. Mr Coufal who was interviewed by phone from New Delhi commented "The International Baccalaureate schools in New Delhi are some of the best I have seen in my recruitment travels and the students we are visiting with would make excellent future Richmond students. Our alumni throughout India and Bangladesh are highly successful people running major businesses or starting new companies that over time will be high achieving organizations. Although it is very competitive in India to attract strong academic students to London and Richmond, our presence here - especially having Dean Kopenski with me - is very valuable and will deliver the type of results we are all looking for."
The Admissions office will visit New Delhi, Calcutta, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Dhaka, Bangladesh over the next two weeks. Richmond has more than a 100 alumni from India and Bangladesh.
