MA makes substantial use of London's galleries
London is arguably the epicenter of the art world(s) and has a wealth of galleries and museums. Some of these, including the Victoria and Albert Museum and many smaller galleries, are within walking distance of our Kensington Campus (where MA students spend their year at Richmond). MA courses and faculty make substantial use of London's galleries and museums as learning resources: both faculty and students discuss objects in in-gallery teaching and learning, as at the British Museum 'Living and dying' and 'Enlightenment' collection displays in these photographs. Students are also encouraged to draw on London's resources in their coursework and MA thesis.
