MA Art History Thesis Research Conference

The first MA Art History Thesis Research Conference was held on Monday 4th June 2007, at Orchard House on the Hill Campus, establishing an annual event. The conference enabled students to present on their thesis research to date in order to glean feedback from faculty and fellow postgraduate students. The thesis topics this year are diverse, as demonstrated by the titles and abstracts, speaking to the unique intercultural focus of the program and/or its sustained engagement with the variety of modernisms. Many of the students are offering creative and in some instances original contributions to their field, and the lively discussion continued at an evening wine reception. The students now move into the final writing phase of the thesis over the summer, before final submission on 1st September.
