MA Art History announces guest speakers for Spring seminar series:

Each Spring, the MA in Art History invites faculty and guest speakers to talk to students about making their way in the competitive world of the visual arts. This 'Professional Practices Seminar Series' has attracted speakers this year from a wide variety of museums, galleries and other visual arts institutions, as well as independent curators and scholars, including from the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Sotheby's Institute of Art, the October Gallery and from as far away as the US and the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide.

The seminars orientate students in the careers and graduate study available to them with their Masters degree and offer an important opportunity for networking. MA alumni currently work in such galleries and museums as the Metroplitan Museum of Art and MOMA in NYC, and the Getty Institute in LA, and are PhD candidates at such institutions as Harvard University, the University of Washington and the University of Texas.
