Internship Success for Jennifer Gates

Richmond ADM student Jennifer Gates achieved recognition at the end of the summer for one of her internship projects. Jennifer completed an 11-week internship at Fortune Cookie, a web-design company located in Clerkenwell and was featured in the weekly marketing magazine "Marketing Direct". She was involved in creating a Twitter page for car hire company, Europcar.

Of her internship as a whole Jennifer said, "As a creative intern at Fortune Cookie I got to use the skills I learned as a Richmond student in a real world environment. Fortune Cookie is a company which designs and produces websites for such clients as Europcar, Miss Selfridge and LTA and as part of their design team, I learned a lot about professional web design techniques and practices as well as getting hands-on experience in the field. I had a terrific time and learned a lot, but the best part was being a part of a team and seeing my designs used in ad campaigns and on various websites".
