Richmond Holds Second Annual International Week

Bollywood Dancing Lessons
The department of Student Affairs recently organized Richmond's second annual International Week. This is a time to recognize and celebrate the importance of multiculturalism on and off of our campus.
Every day throughout the week there were various events being held on both Richmond and Kensington campuses. From Bollywood dancing lessons to a presentation on Maori culture, and from wine tasting to a guest lecture by a survivor of the Holocaust, there was something for everyone. ALso, each night the dining hall served traditional foods from various regions around the world, hoping to appeal to everyone's pallet.
Students, staff and faculty are encouraged to put forth any ideas they may have to make the week special. Student Affairs hopes to continue this event next year and to add many more activities to next year's International Week. They would also like to thank all of those who actively participated this year!
