International Summer Conference Opens Doors

Kopenski, Vice President and Dean of Admissions, Richmond; Ms. Tamuna Jejilashvili, Secondary School Counsellor, The American Academy, Tbilisi, Georgia; Ms. Mara Nisdeo, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, The American University in Rome and Mr. Radek Coufal, Associate Dean of Admissions, Richmond.
International secondary schools gathered from around the world in East Lansing, Michigan, USA, for the 15th Annual Overseas Admissions Counsellor Summer Conference.
Vice President and Dean of Admissions, Mark S. Kopenski and Associate Dean of Admissions, Mr. Radek Coufal where present. They gave several key presentations on the admissions process. They also had the opportunity to discuss the unique qualities of a Richmond education with several hundred international secondary school counsellors, who were in attendance.
Mr. Coufal, from his London office, remarked "It is excellent, to see how far relationships have come, in a relatively short space of time, with these outstanding international high schools and counsellors. Many of the schools in attendance have sent or are sending students to Richmond this September. We are grateful for their support of what we are trying to accomplish at Richmond."
Next years conference will be held in Orange, California, from July, 14th – 18th.
