Honors Night 2011

On Wednesday, 13 April, over 120 students, staff, faculty and trustees assembled to celebrate Richmond University's 19th Annual Honors Night. Honors Night is the formal ceremony held every Spring to recognize students who have excelled in the academic and extracurricular life of the University. Students were greeted by President Ian Newbould and treated to remarks and awards from Sir Cyril Taylor, Professors Seago, Robert and Dabir-Alai, Dean of Students Allison Cole-Stutz and Trustee Dr. Derek Pollard.

Students who are on the Dean's List (with a GPA of 3.4 or above) for two consecutive semesters in the Spring and Fall (or Fall only for Freshmen) are invited to attend Honors Night. We also honor a select number of outstanding students who, in the judgement of faculty, have excelled in their major field of study. Student Affairs awards are presented to students and societies that have made outstanding contributions to student life at Richmond.

Dean's Award- Ashely Barronette
