Richmond Alumnus Sunam Podder on the Cutting Edge of Luxury Brand Apparel

Sunam Podder has been around quality leather products for years but he was not satisfied simply following in his father's company footsteps so he created his own multi-national organization and is now designing and selling some of the most exclusive women's and men's luxury handbags in the world.

Mr. Podder credits a number of influences which have inspired his work - including his time as a student at Richmond in London. "Those days in London were special and I learned a great deal from professors who really took an interest in my learning. Even today, I write my former teachers and they always respond - I do not think most University students can say that about their professors."

Mr. Podder's company - "Manus" which has offices in Kolkata and Los Angeles will launch a new catalog of luxury men's and women's designer bags and accessories later this spring and will be featured in many of the top markets around the globe.
