Former RIASA Student going to Wembley Stadium with Carlisle United
Former RIASA student Nahki Wells will be going to Wembley Stadium in London with his Carlisle United teammates when they will play in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final against Brentford next month. Carlisle beat Hudderdsfied Town over a two legged tie 4-3 to secure their appearance. Wembley is regarded as the 'home of football' and one of the biggest football stages anyone could play at.
Several of Nahki's former teammates went to support him when Carlisle played their second leg at Huddersfield on Tuesday evening. Coach Mark Ellis said, 'We are delighted that Nahki will get the opportunity to be part of the Carlisle squad going to Wembley next month. It is dream come true as I know of many fellow professionals who never had the opportunity to play there and Nahki has only been a pro several weeks. I will be making arrangements to get the RIASA squad down to London to support Nahki and Carlisle."
