Belka and Strelka, animated film co-written by Professor John Chua, Wins Golden Eagle Award


John Chua offered contract to write the sequel

Belka and Strelka (also known as Space Dogs 3D) won the best animation award from the Russian Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on January 21.  The Golden Eagle is considered the ultimate prize in the cinematic arts in Russia.

Premiering in Russia and CIS states last March and in English at the Cannes Film Festival Market last year, Belka and Strelka was also the number one hit movie when it premiered in Poland last year.

The film will be released in France, Italy, Holland, in the Middle East as well as other countries later this year.

Professor Chua was offered a contract to write the sequel to the film as well.
